About Me

I am Mario Krajina, a state-certified dog trainer, protection service helper, and founder of MK9 International.

Since 2014, I have been working intensively with dogs and people at a high level. My focus is not on training that looks good in the moment, but on reliable results that work in everyday life, in sport, and in real-world operations.

I was shaped from an early age by close contact with animals. I grew up with dogs. In my family in Herzegovina, horses, livestock, and a natural, straightforward way of dealing with animals were part of everyday life. It was there that I developed my understanding that real work with animals is based on calmness, clarity, consistency, and timing—having the right feel at the right moment.

Today, I combine this foundation with professional qualifications and practical experience. I am a state-certified dog trainer and hold the official license to train dogs, to train or instruct them for protection purposes, as well as to commercially transport dogs.

I have specialized in particularly challenging dogs—those that are difficult to handle, highly driven, or show behavioral issues. I work in situations where excuses don’t help and the dog needs a clear, honest system. My goal is not to superficially manage behavior, but to shape it properly, secure it, and make it stable under distraction.  

As a NePoPo® Gold Multiplicator, I am authorized to issue Gold certificates within the framework of an intensive 5-day 1:1 Gold School. I apply this knowledge specifically in the training of family dogs, sport dogs, and service dogs. Always individually, always directly, always with the goal of maximum clarity and practical applicability.  

I have also been working intensively as a protection service helper for many years. Our own dogs are now deployed worldwide with police and military units. This experience shapes my standards for quality, nerve stability, precision, and true functionality.
