About Me

I am Mario Krajina, a state-certified dog trainer, protection service helper, and founder of MK9 International.

Since 2014, I have been working intensively with dogs and people at a high level. My focus is not on training that simply looks good in the moment, but on reliable results that hold up in everyday life, in sport, and in real-world operations.

I was shaped from an early age by close interaction with animals. I grew up with dogs. In my family in Herzegovina, horses, livestock, and a natural, straightforward approach to animals were simply part of everyday life. That environment shaped my understanding that real work with animals is based on calmness, clarity, consistency, and timing with the right feeling in the right moment.

Today, I combine this foundation with professional qualifications and hands-on experience. I am a state-certified dog trainer and hold the commercial license to train dogs, including protection training and instruction, as well as to transport dogs commercially.

As a NePoPo® Gold Multiplicator, I am authorized to issue Gold Certificates as part of an intensive 5-day 1:1 Gold School program. I apply this knowledge specifically in the training of companion dogs, sport dogs, and service dogs. Always individually tailored, always direct, always with the goal of maximum clarity and practical applicability.

I have also been working intensively as a protection sport helper in the practical field for many years. Our own dogs are now working with police and military units around the world. This experience shapes my standards for quality, nerve strength, precision, and real functionality.
